A grade. The most "frugal" and natural way for applicants from other countries to prepare for entry to a UK university, it allows you to significantly improve your knowledge of English and gain the necessary academic foundation. This course is similar to the last two years of study abroad. It is comparable to native English at a British university.
The program is designed for six semesters. During this time the guys study 3-4 subjects which will be the main subjects studied at the university.
IB - International Baccalaureate. This program is becoming increasingly popular among English-speaking schools, and its certificate of completion is accepted in 50 countries worldwide. The two-year program includes study of 3 advanced subjects and 3 foundation subjects. The list includes English, Mathematics, Humanities and Natural Sciences, an Introduction subject. In addition, there is a special sub-course "Creativity, Action, Service", in which the boys must prove themselves in the creative field, sports and volunteer work. Often, thanks to CAS, the country's top universities give preference to applicants with an IB diploma over those with the highest A-level scores. You can also prepare for entry into the Pre-IB program by holding the TOEFL Junior 250 certificate, starting at age 15.
Foundation Programme.
This is a traditional alternative to the two programs mentioned above, created specifically for foreign applicants. Intensive preparation for English universities lasts 9 months or 3 semesters. If you enter the Foundation Program at the beginning of the calendar year, you can enroll in an English university on September 1.
The student's timetable is based on the direction of study at the University of England at the end of the program. Some subjects are foundations and compulsory, other subjects must be chosen by each participant in the program according to their academic interests.
